Notice is hereby given that an election will be held on May 5, 2020 for available Briggsdale Fire Protection District Board of Directors positions.
The Board of Directors of the BRIGGSDALE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT have scheduled a special meeting for December 12, 2019 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held a Briggsdale Fire Protection District station 1, 95 Milton St. Briggsdale Co.
The purpose of the meeting is for adopting the 2020 budget, and to certify the mill levy as required by 32-1-1-1201, 39-5-128(1), C.R.S. Anyone wishing to review the proposed 2020 budget may contact Chief James Dilka, for a copy of said budget. The meeting is open to the public, and anyone having comments will be scheduled time for those comments.

Briggsdale Fire Protection District invites and welcomes proposals for their 85 Milton St property project. Please take time to carefully read and become familiar with the proposal requirements. All proposals submitted for consideration must be received by the 5 PM April 16, 2019.
PROJECT AND LOCATION
The bid proposal is being requested for property which is located at 85 Milton St, Briggsdale, Colorado 80611.
The objective and ultimate goal of this project is to fix listed repairs from home inspection report to property for rental unit. Scope of work will be based on home inspection report.
The following timeline has been established to ensure that project objective is achieved, however the project timeline shall be subject to change when deemed necessary by management.
Start work May 1, 2019. Complete by July 1, 2019
PROPOSAL BIDDING REQUIRMENTS
Briggsdale Fire Protection District shall award the contract to the proposal that best accommodates the various project requirements. Briggsdale Fire Protection District reserves the right to award contract to more than one Bidder, and refuse any proposal or contract without obligation to either Briggsdale Fire Protection District or to any Bidder offering or submitting a proposal.

The following is a list of information that the Bidder should include in their proposal submission:

Bidder agrees that Briggsdale Fire Protection District may contact all submitted references to obtain any and all information regarding Bidder’s performance.

Notice is hereby given for the Briggsdale Fire Protection District, Weld County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than office to be filled. The election to be held May, 2018 is cancelled.
Intersted in serving on the Briggsdale Fire Protection District Board of Directors? This May 8, two directors will be elected to serve four-year terms on the board. This is a volunteer position. The regularly-scheduled January meeting of the Briggsdale Fire Protection District Board of Directors and the quarterly Pension Board meeting have been rescheduled to January 18, 2017 at 7pm at the firehouse in Briggsdale.
A special meeting of the BFPD Board of Directors has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 pm at the Briggsdale Fire Station.
